The study was conducted at Cavite State University Rosario (CvSU-Rosario) and Science Technology Institute Rosario (STI Rosario) from October 2015 to December 2015. It aimed to determine the following (1) If there is a relationship in the level of self- efficacy of high school students among non-gamers and RTS gamers of CvSU-Rosario and STI-Rosario; (2) If there is a significant difference in the level of self-efficacy of high school students among non-gamers and RTS gamers of CVSU-Rosario and STI- Rosario, (3) If there is a significant difference in the level of self-efficacy of high school RTS gamers between CvSU Rosario and STI-Rosario
Self-Efficacy Test questionnaire was used as the research instrument. A total of one hundred sixty respondents composed of RTS gamers and non-gamers answered the questionnaire and served as the participants of the study
The level of the self-efficacy of the participants were determined first through the mean score. T-test for paired samples showed that there is a positive relationship in the level of self-efficacy among RTS gamers and non-gamers of CvSU-Rosario and STI- Rosario. T-test for independent samples, on the other hand, showed that there is no significant difference in the level of self-efficacy among RTS gamers and non-gamers of CvSU-Rosario and STI-Rosario. Moreover, it showed that CvSU-Rosario RTS gamers have higher level of self-efficacy than STI-Rosario RTS gamers.
