The Ideal Filipino application is a mobile application about Filipino customs. tradition
and values particularly in the Luzon region. The said application help Filipino people and
other nationalities to broad their knowledge about the customs tradition and values of
Filipinos.
The study was conducted from January 2015 to March 2016 at Cavite State University-Rosario. It aimed to design the user interface for the input, process and output of
the application, test and evaluate the application and install the application to any smartphone
with android operating system.
This application was developed using Rapid Application Development model, it has four
important phases: requirement phase, user design, construction and cutover. The criteria used
for the evaluation was consists of the following criteria: ease of using the software, accuracy
of contents and gender sensitivity, software support on curriculum needs and objectives.

A total number of nineteen (19) respondents evaluated the application which was
composed four (4) IT experts three (3) Values Teachers from Bacoor National High School,
one (1) History Teachers, one (1) Asst. Professor II and ten (10) students from Cavite State
University-Rosario. The results of evaluation of the application garnered a total point of
8? 81 with a satisfactory descriptive interpretation.
