"MAHOGANY FRUIT SHELL AS MATERIAL IN MAKING WOOD TILE".<br/><br/>Adviser: Rosemina R. de Guzman<br/><br/>The research study entitled "Mahogany Fruit Shell as Material in Making Wood Tile" was conducted to determine the possibility of producing wood tile out of mahogany fruit shell. Specifically, it aimed to determine the significant difference among treatments of mahogany fruit shells in terms of: texture and durability.<br/><br/>The variables used were: TO- commercial wood tile T1-50 grams of Mahogany Fruit Shells+ 40 grams of wood glue+ 10 grams of hardener, T2-50 grams of Mahogany Fruit Shells+ 25 grams of wood glue+ 25grams of hardener and 13-50 grams of Mahogany Fruit Shells+ 20 grams of wood glue + 30 grams of hardener.<br/><br/>The procedures in making Wood Tile were the following: gathering of materials, grinding of Mahogany fruit shells, mixing of mahogany fruit shells with wood glue and hardener, drying the result of mixing, coating and drying of finished product, and determining the best treatment.<br/><br/>The significant difference among treatments of wood tile out of mahogany fruit shell was evaluated by 50 respondents from high school students of Cavite State University- Rosario through the use of questionnaires.
