Merced This study entitled Effects of Different Types of Soil in Euphorbia Propagation" was conducted at Teiero Gen. Trias. Cavite from March, September-October 2007 with the following objectives (1) determine the effects of different types of soil in Euphorbia Propagation, (2) Determine if euphorbia can live in different types of soil. RCBD (Randomized Complete Block Design) was used in the study with the four treatments and two replications. These were: TO – (100% Loam soil), TI - (50% Loam soil + 50% Sandy soil), T2– (75% Loam soil + 25% Sandy soil), T3- (25% Loam soil + 75% Sandy soil). Based on the findings with the use of descriptive analysis, in terms of height gained by euphorbia plant, T2 - (75% Loam soil + 25% Sandy soil) was found to have the great effects in increasing the height of Euphorbia, on the other hand, plants under TO- (100% Loam soil) have highest increase in the number of leaves. ANOVA table showed that there is no significant difference among the treatments in the height gained and the number of leaves. The results showed that the different kinds of soil had no significant effect on the growth of Euphorbia, and the operational hypothesis was accepted.
