Cavite State University Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite. April 2018. Adviser. Allen John C. Muyot. The study was conducted from August 2018 April 2019 to develop a musical note reader and player mobile application. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) create the application based on the board game called Game of the Generals; 2) design all the overall look and logic of the games in accordance with the following: a. box style board pieces and the level background of the game b. gameplay and logic of the game c. multiplayer mode of the game 3) conduct an alpha testing of the game; and 4) evaluate the game using adapted EIC ISO 25010 game evaluation instruments. The 3D Game of the Generals is a turn-based mobile application which runs in Android operating system. It is based from the classical pinoy board game "Game of the Generals" or mostly known with the term "Salpakan". The game is played by two players. The rules are simple, capture the flag to win the game. However, the opponent's pieces can't be shown. Meaning that the other player should think wisely of their moves in order to fulfill the objective. The development of his application would improve the existing technologies regarding Game of the Generals. It also aims to provide opportunities for people who can't afford the actual board game. Since we live in a generation where mobile phones are frequently used, it was made as a mobile application so that it would be played for free. The 3D Game of the Generals was developed with the use of Unity Game Engine and Blender. The developers used a single computer unit with the following specifications: 4 GB of Random Access Memory (RAM), AMD A8-7600 Radeon7 Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) with a speed of 3.1 gigahertz and 500 GB hard disk drive with a 64-bit Windows 10 Operating System (OS). | ||
