This study was conducted from March 2021 to December 2021 in the 7th district of Cavite such as Amadeo, Indang, Tanza, and Trece Martires City. This study aimed to identify the challenges and coping strategies of the selected resorts in the 7th districts of Cavite and give meaningful and sufficient information in operating this kind of business in this time of the pandemic. Resort was a part of the hospitality industry that faced losses and closures during COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 is an epidemic that challenges every nation and business in that nation. Moreover, researchers applied the quantitative approach in the descriptive method of the research design. Resorts were selected with the used purposive sampling under the non-probability sampling methods as a simple technique. The researchers found out that multiple restrictions, fierce completion, and additional cost for COVID sanitation protocol were the challenges that affected the resort's operation during the pandemic. In addition, it was found that having active social media pages, and minimizing unnecessary expenses helped the resorts to remain open in this time of the pandemic. Furthermore, social media marketing was the effective strategy used by the resort to gain and attract more customers or guests amidst pandemic and any food-related businesses were the Resort owners top Business that they would venture in case the resort stops its operation.
