The study was conducted from June 2015 to December 2016 at Cavite State University Rosario Campus in Welding and Fabrication Building to develop an Arc Welding Booth with Welding Positioner. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) Design the welding table for Welding Booth. 2) Construct the Arc Welding Booth with Welding Positioner from supply and materials available in the local market. 3) Evaluate the performance of the project in terms of: a. Time of welding using welding positioner b. Number of observer can accommodate by the booth; c. Visibility of the sliding dark glass and 4) Conduct a cost analysis for the Arc Welding Booth with Welding Positioner. The prototype was constructed with different parts such as the main table frame, welding positioner, the booth and the fixed dark glass around it. The right side of the welding booth can be also used for Oxy-acetylene process. The developed project's welding positioner with welding booth can weld pipe in different position. The vertical position consumed more time to weld pipe as compared to horizontal and flat position. The welding positioner and booth can accommodate 7 observer to watch the demonstration teaching in any part of the booth. The visibility was very clear at a distance of 0.5 meter and clear only at a distance of 1-1.5 meter. The total cost of the project was PHP.13,122.40.
