GERVIN C. FERRERA, NORIEL P. DE OCAMPO and GLENN MARK E. MANALO. Development of Computerized Aided Instruction with Simulator System for Web Development. Undergraduate Thesis. Department of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University - Rosario, Cavite. April 2013. Adviser: Mrs. Rossian V. Perea.
The Development of Computerized Aided Instruction with Simulator System for Web Development was founded and created to improve and implement the teaching strategy with the help of information technology. The use of interactive graphics in computer aided instruction system is discussed with emphasis placed on two requirements. The first requirement is the need to provide the teacher a useful tool with which to design and modify teaching sessions tailored to the individual needs and capabilities of the students. The second is the requirement to provide for sufficiently flexible interaction with the students during actual teaching session.
The study required to use softwares in designing modules and to produce interactive design to make the system more efficient and gives effectiveness in learning web development subjects. The developer used VB.NET for program design and coding, Adobe Photoshop for graphic interfaces and color schemes, the use of Camtasia Studio 6 makes the videos recorded in good quality. The hardware used in developing the system is a computer unit with the following specifications: AMD Athlon™ II X2 240 2.8 GHz. with the RAM of 2.0 gigabytes and a hard disk of 250 gigabytes with a Windows XP Service Pack 2 Operating System.
The concepts of the study were implemented in a system which maximizes the use of interactive graphics. It was founded that the system was a useful tool in studying web development, the result of the survey conducted was excellent which made the views of the study more useful and feasible. Facilities available in the system are materials that can be used by students in a dynamic and graphical fashion which leads to better understanding and more enjoyable learning experience. The implemented system indicates a complete working system of this type is feasible and would prove itself to be valuable educational tool.
