The study was conducted from July to January 2014 in the Computer Laboratory of Cavite State University Rosario Campus, to assess the manual process of turning on and off the lights. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1 plan for a system that can be used as an alternative light switching for the computer laboratory, 2. analyse the existing way to turn on/off the lights and the problems encountered by the people and how it affects their existence in the computer laboratory, 3. develop a useful application that helps to lessen the user's task, and 4 evaluate the system if it is useful, easy to manage and it adheres to the needs of the computer laboratory users. This paper presents the design and implementation of a low cost yet flexible Light Control System using Mobile phone via Bluetooth. The design was based on Aceduino and Bluetooth module and the lights were connected to the input output ports of this board via relays. The communication between the cell phone and the Aceduino and Bluetooth was wireless Password protection was being used to only allow authorized users from accessing the application. To be able to come up with this study, the proponents used various materials and methods that are suited for the development of a Light control system using Mobile Phone via Bluetooth for Computer Laboratory of Cavite State University-Rosario. During the development of the system, a single set of computer system with the following specifications was used: 4 gigabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), an Intel Corei3 Central Processing Unit (CPU) with a speed of 2.20 gigahertz, 500 gigabyte Hard Disk with Windows 7 as the Operating system (OS) and they used a Portable Globe internet. The researchers used App Inventor which lets programmers develop applications for Android phones using a web browser and either a connected phone or emulator. Microsoft Word and Visio are used for documentation. They also used different hardware including: microcontroller, bluetooth module, motion sensor and relay shield. The proponents also used the iterative model which consists of four phases: (1) requirements phase, in which the requirements for the software were gathered and analysed; (2) design phase, in which a software solution to meet the requirements was designed, (3) implementation and test phase, where the software was coded, integrated and tested, and (4) review phase, in which the software was evaluated, the current requirements were reviewed, and changes and additions to the requirements were proposed ER -
