DEVELOPMENT OF E-LEARNING WORKBOOK GAME IN GENERAL CHEMISTRY. A Project Design Bachelor of Science in Information Technolgy Cavite State University-Rosario, Rosario, Cavite April 2014 Adviser Christopher G. Estonilo. The study was started from July 2013 to January 2014 at Barangay Biwas, Tanza Cavite to improve and simplify the process of teaching of General Chemistry subject and also to help student learn quickly. Specifically, the purpose of the study is to answer the following questions 1 how do students will be able to better understand the subject in general chemistry? 2 how do students will be able enjoy general chemistry as playing while learning? 3. how do teachers will be able to teach Chemistry in an engaging way? The system aimed to speed up the process of learning General chemistry where in modern technology is applied to lessen the work of the teachers who handle this subject. Also, the students will be introduced to advances in technology through an E-Learning Workbook game in General Chemistry which is a breakthrough from the traditional learning method. The System Development Life Cycle was the process used by the developers in creating the software Planning, analyzing, designing, developing and evaluation were the phases under this method. The program was developed in Visual Basic NET and for the database the resarcher used the MySQL so that the system can hold voluminous data. The user-friendly interface was developed using Adobe Photoshop The networking part of the system was developed using the Windows Source Tree technology in which data can be transfer to another computer safely. Microsoft Word and Excel are the tools used in documenting the study. The software was evaluated by 2000 random students from Bachelor of Science in Education, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education. The results show that the system has an "Outstanding" rating and majority of the participants found that the system was excellent ER -
