Technology has successfully blended its method in different disciplines such as medicine, transportation and education. E-learning is the integration of education and technology. It has been widely used to aid the method of teaching Mechatronics is a combination of mechanics, electronics and informatics. It has been used in designing and developing sensors, actuators and robotics.
The study was conducted from March 2014 to February 2015 at 327 Bucal, Tanza, Cavite, to develop a computerized learning material for mechatronics
The study aimed to 1. design the prototype of Computerized Learning Material for Mechatronics system, 2 Test the prototype, and 3. Evaluate the system using software evaluation instrument, Implement with the system.
The methodology that was used in developing the system was the interactive model This involves the phases of planning, analyzing and designing, developing, evaluating and implementing
A software evaluation instrument used was based on ISO 9126 software evaluation with the criteria accuracy, consistency, correctness, reliability, information in the program, user-interaction, and technical aspects was used to test the systems functionality.
A total number of two hundred (200) participants evaluated the system composed of one hundred seventy four (174) students, six (6) teachers from the Cavite State University Rosario Campus and twenty (20) Information Technology (IT) specialist The result showed that the system can be a useful tool in teaching Mechatronics subject.
Based on the results of the study it was conducted that the system provides solution to the problems
Further recommendations such as to make the software as a online system for the user to access it anytime and everywhere, and the teacher can only access their advising students were included to improve system's functionality.
