Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University-Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite April 2015 Adviser Mr. Christopher G. Estonilo. The study entitled the Development of Code Academy an Alternative Learning for Programming Language (C++, Java, Vb.net) was conducted from March 2014 to February 2015 in the house of Mr. Reymond Bataclan at Sanja Mayor Tanza, Cavite. The study aimed to design a website with a user friendly interface using software tools like Notepad++ for the code and Adobe Photoshop for the design of our website; evaluate and test the beta-version of Code Academy an Online Alternative Learning for Programming Language (C++, java, vb.net) for necessary modification, and implement the Code Academy an Online Alternative Learning for Programming Language (C++, Java, Vb.net) through desktop, pc or laptop The team used interactive model of research to develop the E learning website, plan, analyze, evaluate and implement all the data that they gathered to completely develop the system Planning the design and expected output, gathering information from students, consulting and conducting interviews of the professors of the Department of Engineering and Information Technology were done during the development of the project. The researchers conducted an evaluation of one hundred sixty one (161) students, one (1) professor and three (3) 1.T specialists from Cavite State University - Rosario. The criteria used by the researchers were the following: accuracy of the software; consistency of the software; correctness of the software, reliability of the software, information in the program of the software; user-interaction of the software, and technical aspects of the software and materials. The result of the software evaluation showed that the system can be used as an alternative tool for learning programming languages, C++, Java and VB.Net ER -
