Development of Physical Fitness Guide Mobile Application System. A Project Design. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Cavite State University Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite April 2015 Adviser: Raiza D. Borreo The study aimed to 1) design the user interface of physical fitness guide mobile application system, 2) evaluate and test the developed mobile application, and 3.) implement the physical fitness guide mobile application system The researchers used system development method called iterative model, where planning, analysing and designing phase interact continuously to produce a Physical Fitness Guide that can be tested, evaluated and implemented through mobile phones and gadgets having an Android OS The criteria used for the evaluation of the mobile application are accuracy, consistency, correctness, reliability, information in the program, user interaction, and technical aspects of the software materials Two hundred (200) participants evaluated the mobile application, which is composed of one hundred thirty-three (133) physically-active students, forty-two (42) working people, twenty-one (21) gym people, three (3) PE Teachers and one (1) IT Professor from Cavite State University Rosario The result of the software evaluation shows that the mobile application can be a useful tool for working out at home and is capable of helping and guiding users wh s to stay fit despite of their busy schedule and personal reasons why they can't go to gym. It serves as an interactive guide and reference for the users to maintain a physically fit body without having to pay any amount of money. The criteria used by the researchers are the following: accuracy of the software, consistency of the software; correctness of the software, reliability of the software; information in the program of the software; user-interaction of the software, and technical aspects of the software. The result of the software evaluation shows that the application achieves an overall rating of "Excellent" ER -
