The survival of micro and small enterprises is one of the issues in the process of development of developing countries. Several factor is the business are capable enough to seek traditional banks. Fortunately, here in the Philippines microfinance institution are present and ready to serve enterprises. Microfinance provides financial serves made for the poor. According to Gabriel et al. (2021) microfinance acts as a tool to help people come out of poverty. Microfinance offers financial services such as loan, saving and insurance. The only difference is they offer it in small amounts. The present study determined the contribution of microfinance in the survival of micro and small enterprises in Kawit, Cavite. Extent of support of microfinance and SME challenges were determined. The factors use to analyzed business survival is access to finance, managerial skills and ability to convert profit to investment. The researcher used purposive sampling technique to get the sample size. The findings indicated that shortage of funds challenged MSE the most. Also, both financial and non-financial was perceived with great extent. Microfinance was revealed to contribute to MSE's access to finance by being a safe financing and implementing loan period payment.
