Development of Solar Powered Dual Streetlight. Project Design Study, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Cavite State University-Rosario, Cavite. 2015. Adviser: Mr. Nonilo G. Evangelista. Technical Critic: Ms. Janice G. Dulce. This Project study entitled Development of Solar Powered Dual Streetlight sought to answer the following question; (1) How does the Solar Powered Dual Streetlight provide efficient electric supply? (2) How does the developed Solar Powered Dual Streetlight provide an accurate and precise alternative source of light? The main objective of the project study was to develop and construct a Solar Powered Dual Streetlight Specifically, this study aimed to do the following: (1) Plan a renewable source of energy for Solar Powered Dual Streetlight. (2) Analyze the project study as to its functionality, effectiveness and durability (3) Design a solar streetlight using 40W Solar panel. (4) Construct a solar streetlight from available parts and materials in the local market. (5) Test its capability, functionality, safety, and effectiveness of the prototype. (6) Evaluate the functionality, effectiveness and durability of prototype. (7) Revise and remedy any defect. The device produce was made out of locally available supplies of material and was developed and assembled inside the electronics technology shop using the available tools and equipment. This prototype was focus only in the development of Solar Powered Dual Streetlight. This was conducted at Cavite State University-Rosario Electronics Building (TVEP) From June 2013- February 2014. The project study used the green technology and electricity as an alternative source of energy for street light. The prototype can emit light for 12 hours, it is limited only using 2 pieces of 20W solar panels 1.12A, Solar charge controller 12VDC 10A, Battery 12VDC 40Ah and Light Emitting Diode 4W 12VDC. The participants of the study were forty (40) students, two (2) instructors of Cavite State University-Rosario Campus and one (1) Master Electrician from the Industry. The participants rated and evaluated the prototype as to its functionality, work ability, durability, aesthetics, economy, sale ability, safety using the Likert scale. Data gathered were tabulated and analyzed using frequency count and mean. The study revealed that the Solar Powered Dual Streetlight was successfully developed based on the data obtained from the evaluation of the prototype through survey ER -
