The study was conducted from July 2015 to February 2016 to develop and evaluate Gear Trainer.This study aimed to:1)design Gear Trainer:2) construct Gear Trainer using available materials and manpower:3) evaluate the performance of the trainer in terms of accuracy and speed in setting lathe machine gear, 4) conduct cost analysis of the project.

Lathe Machine Threading Gear Trainer was constructed with 4 Gears with different teeth such as 36.90,120 and 127 teeth. It was used for demonstration for English and Metric in Lathe Machine Gear trainer. The gear trainer was developed with less noise to avoid disturbance while using the lathe machine. The trainer was accurate and precise, fast and easy way to set up gear than using the traditional lathe machine which was messy and took longer time to set up. The total cost of the project was Php 3,586.00
