The Contemporary World explores the practical, engaging, and relevant ways in which global structures and processes operate in our lives. It introduces and primarily discusses globalization to students in an accessible, appealing, and significant way. Discussions on globalization have roots in the different disciplines in the social sciences and in other fields of study.
