The research study entitled "Effectiveness of Beeplenut as a Foot Scrub" was conducted to determine the possibility of producing foot scrub using pineapple peelings. Specifically, it aimed to: (1) determine the effectiveness of Beeplenut in terms of the following properties: exfoliating, moisturizing and softening; (2) determine the ideal frequency of application of the foot scrub.
The procedures in making the Beeplenut foot scrub were the following: gathering materials, drying of pineapple peelings, pounding of dried pineapple peelings, cooking of the materials (beeswax, coconut oil, pineapple peelings), determining the desirable proportion of the materials and data analysis.
The effectiveness of the foot scrub was evaluated by the respondents through the use of questionnaires. The weighted mean was computed to analyze the data.
The evaluation revealed that the use of Beeplenut foot scrub can exfoliate, moisturize and soften's one feet.
