A web application is any software that runs in a web browser. It is created in a browser-supported programming language and relies on a web browser to render the application. The developers developed the system to help their client to transact and advertise their product through online with the use of internet.
The study was conducted from September 2015 to January 2016 in Cavite State University-Rosario, to develop a sale and inventory system for Aluminum Products and Architectural Innovation Marketing International Corporation.
The study aimed to design and develop the user interface of the system for the input, process and output of sales and inventory system for Aluminum Products and Architectural Innovation Marketing International Corporation, test and evaluate the sales and inventory system for Aluminum Products and Architectural Innovation Marketing International Corporation and upload the system in the internet.
The developers used system development method called spiral model to produce the web application of sales and inventory system for Aluminum Product and Architectural Innovation Marketing International Corporation. This involves the phases of requirement analysis and specification, designing, prototyping, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
The sales and inventory system for Aluminum Products and Architectural Innovations Marketing International Corporation is based on the company's wants. It was evaluated by 15 end-users, 5 clients of the system and 5 I.T experts. The developers analyzed the results of the evaluation by computing the average score of each sub- criterion or indicator. The results showed that the system got a score 81.97 with a qualitative rating of Satisfactory.
