ARIBAL, RIZZA A., BUENAVENTURA, ANDREW JAMES L., AND CARI-AN, ELDREN M. Development of Mobile-Based Circuit Simulator. Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University-Rosario, Rosario, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Christopher G. Estonilo.
Mobile-based application or also called mobile apps, it is a term used to describe online or offline application that run on smartphones and other mobile devices. The developers conducted this study from January 2015 to March 2016 at Cavite State University-Rosario (CvSU-R).
The general objective of the study is to develop a mobile-based circuit simulor. Specifically, it aimed to design the user interface using Android Studio and identify all necessary inputs, process and output of the system, test and evaluate the system and implement the mobile-based circuit simulator system through android phones and tablets. A methodology called Rapid Application Development (RAD) model was used in to develop the system.
The software evaluation tool was used to evaluate the system. The evaluation was consisted of the following questions: is the software easy to use?; are the contents accurate and gender sensitive?; does the software support the needs and objectives of the curriculum?; Is the software an appropriate medium for learning the targeted skills?; does the target user match the intended learner-user?; is the return on investment justifiable to the stakeholders? and; is the software well supported? A total number of twenty (20) participants evaluated the system which composed of the five (5) electrical engineering students, ten (10) I.T. students, three (3) I.T. experts, two (2) electrical engineering instructors. The system got the score of 88.50 points.
