ARMINTIA, AIRA MAY D., BULDA, RON JOSHUA G., CENTENO RON RON P., Development of DCS Comlock with Active Directory. A Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University-Rosario, Rosario, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Mrs. Diane P. Arayata.
DCS Comlock with active Directory runs in any computer or laptop. The developers developed the system to help the Department of Computer Studies in terms of time in system, maintain orderliness in the computer laboratory and reduce the cheating habits of the students. The system compiles all the documents of the students with the use of active directory for checking guide of the instructors.
The study was conducted from January 2015 to March 2016 at Cavite State University- Rosario. It aimed to design the user interface for the input, process and output of the system, test and evaluate the system and implement the system inside the computer laboratories.
The developers used system development method called iterative model which involves the continuous interaction in planning, analysing, and designing phase before the testing and evaluation of the system.
DCS ComLock with active directory was evaluated by students who used computers in DCS computer laboratory and some IT experts. The result of the evaluation was 80 total points with a satisfactory descriptive interpretation.
