The authors developed a website that serve as a platform to encourage the people to visit, promote and appreciate the beauty of CALABARZON. The website provides different tourist spots and events in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.
The study was conducted from January 2015 to March 2016 at Region IV-A Tourism Office. It aimed to design and develop the end-user interface of the website, evaluate and test the website and upload the website online.
The developers adapted the concept of interactive model in the development of the website. It was evaluated using website evaluation criteria: content, content accuracy, navigation and links, layout, background and page designs, fonts and choice of color, graphics and images, spelling and grammar, and functionality. The results of the evaluation showed that the system got an average score of 85.82 with a Very Satisfactory descriptive interpretation.
