The study was conducted from August 2016 to March 2017 to develop an online election system for the different organization of Cavite State University- Rosario Campus. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) design and develop the logical and user interface of the online election system, 2) test and evaluate the online election system using a modified website evaluation criteria adapted from ISO 9126, and 3) deploy and implement the clection system through the internet.
The developers used the interactive model of system development for the methodology. The planning, analysis, design phase were performed continuously until the system was developed for evaluation and implementation.
The system was evaluated by 50 participants composed of IT experts, student organization advisers and students of CvSU-Rosario. The online election system gained a total score of 96/100, suggesting outstanding performance and characteristics.
