MALIT, BERNARD JHUN, MAMON, JONVIC E. AND PESTILOS, JEAN B. Development of Talk to Teki: A Knowledge-Based Application System. Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University-Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Prof. Christopher G. Estonilo.
The study was conducted from January 2016 to March 2017 to develop a knowledge-based application system called 'Talk to Teki'. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) design the user interface of the application Talk to Teki; 2) test and evaluate the mobile application using a modified software evaluation tool adapted from ISO 9126; and 3) deploy the system in Android devices.
The developers used the interactive model of system development for the methodology. The planning, analysis, and design phases were performed continuously until the system was developed for testing, evaluation and implementation.
The system was evaluated by 30 participants composed of IT experts, faculty members and students of CvSU-Rosario. The mobile application gained a total score of 88.57/100, suggesting very satisfactory performance and characteristics.
