The study was conducted from August 2017 to May 2018 in Cavite State University-CCAT Campus to develop the virtual environment of CvSU-CCAT Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) design the three-dimensional environment for Cavite State University-CCAT Campus using Google SketchUp and Unreal Engine; 2) develop a natural and free-flowing form of interaction that will result to a memorable experience, and 3) test and evaluate the performance of the developed system using an adapted and modified instrument from ISO 25010.
In developing the research topic, the developers used the interactive model of the System Development Life Cycle method This model includes the planning, analysis, design, prototyping and system testing phase.
The evaluation was conducted at CvSU-CCAT Campus. Five system developers and 25 end-users were selected to evaluate the system. The system developers assessed the functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability and portability of the VUX, while the end assessed the system based on usability, effectiveness, efficiency, satisfaction, and context coverage
