Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University-Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser. Prof. Karlo Jose E. Nabablit The study was conducted from January 2016 to March 2017 to develop virtual cell an e-learning mobile application about plant and animal cells using 3Dimentional objects of cells for mobile users. Specifically, the study aimed to 1) design and develop the logical and user interface of the virtual cell using Unity 3D and display the information about plant and animal cells, 2) test and evaluate the virtual cell mobile application by students, Biology experts and IT experts, 3) and deploy the app through mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets. The mobile application was called Virtual Cell. It was made to serve as an interactive application and mobile reference for students to study about plant and animal cells. The developers used the iterative model of system development for the methodology. The planning, analysis, design phase were performed continuously until the system was developed for evaluation and implementation. The system was evaluated by 50 participants, composed of IT experts, Biology major teachers and students of Cavite State University-Rosario Campus. The virtual cell mobile application gained a total score of 93/100, suggesting a very satisfactory and characteristics.
