The snafy about the impact of installment payment to buyer's purchase decision on electronic household gadgets and appliances, it was conducted from January 2018 to March 2018 Specifically, the study aimed to determine the advantages and disadvantages of installment payment and its effect to the buying decision of the customers. To be able to gather the necessary data, the researchers utilized the descriptive method of research. The major tool used in gathering data was a survey questionnaire designed for the customers who availed installment payment appliances or gadgets in General Trias City, Cavite. This study relied completely on the population of four barangays in General Trias City, Cavite: Pasong Kawayan II, Pasong Camachille 11. Santiago and San Francisco which have a total population of 151,942 The researchers considered 200 as their participants. Data were tabulated, analyzed and interpreted using the descriptive method of research. Slovin's formula, frequency, mean and percentage distribution were used. As the result of the study most of the participants were age 18 to 28 years old and most of them were regular. The participants have a capability to avail installment payment. Mostly the participants were married. Their monthly income ranged from P8,000 to P10,000 per month. Most of the participants said that the most advantage of installment payment was lighter in payment. Because they don't need to pay it in full cash the amount of the products will be divided into particular months depending on the terms they chose. Most of the participants said that the most disadvantage of the installment payment was higher interest rates, because the customers have difficulties on how to cope up with the monthly payment. Based on the result of the study, the participants preferred to buy using cash because it was the best option for making a purchase. For the mode of payment expand their network of payment center for more convenience to the customers and reduce their interest, therefore the customers will not suffer too much in their monthly responsibilities.
