This research was conducted from October to November 2013 to determine the
impact of growing fast food chains on local restaurant owners in Tanza Cavite This study was made within the Tanza area. The general objective of this study is to determine the impact of growing fast food chains on local restaurant owners and specific objectives are: determine the successful restaurant in the area know the primary consumers of these restaurants, determine the marketing strategies implemented by the local restaurant owners in Tanza, Cavite in order to compete with the fast food chains and know which restaurant has the greatest level of sales.
To be able to gather the necessary data, the researches utilized the descriptive method. Herein, the chosen participants were sel ected from the local restaurants in Tanza, Cavite. The survey method was the research instrument used for data gathering. Personal Interview is appropriate in this study because it enables the researchers in the formulation of generalizations. Specifically, two types of direct data interview are included in this study. These are the questionnaire survey and interviews. The direct data type of survey is reliable source of first-hand information because the researchers directly interact with the participants. The questionnaire survey participants were given exact time to assess the challenges facing the restaurant in Tanza, Cavite. Their own experiences with restaurant in practice are necessary in identifying its strengths and limitations. The local restaurants in Tanza, Cavite which were chosen in this study accomplished survey questionnaire to evaluate the challenges facing each restaurant.

The owner of the Antoninos declared that 30% of their gross sales decreased after the fast food chains flourished in the city
Two of the respondents Calle Real and Pilitas stated that their sales deplete on 40% because, most of the
Customers looking for a branded restaurant with inexspensive product. The last
respondent, Ceferinan confirmed that 70% downfall of their sales was because, most of their customers patronizes fast food chains instead of their restaurant. This only prove that fast food chains have a greater impact on the local restaurants in Tanza,Cavite.
Researchers recommends that the owners or managers of the restaurants must: add some tarpaulin of their restaurant along the highway where they can attract customers, prioritize kids and teens for their business shops, offer a value meal or combo meat with inexpensive prices for the adults and kids, must build a play place so kids would enjoy while waiting for the foods to be serve, use an online restaurant reservation
tool and invite customers to make a reservation on sites like open table, use social networking sites to promote business, and most importantly give the
best food that they can make at fare prices and give an impeccable service.
