This study was conducted to determine the engagement level of male and female in engaging small businesses in Rosario, Cavite and to determine the challenges/or problems that business owners encountered. The researchers utilized a simple random sampling technique for the 50 respondents that were randomly selected. An online survey questionnaire through Google form was distributed to collect the needed data. Findings showed that the participants were mostly female,single, has a business operation for 1-5 years and a monthly income that ranges below Php10,000. The study revealed most of the respondents on the level of engagement between male and female based on initiative, innovation, creativity, risk-taking the study revealed that mostly were agree on the question in each statement. While the responses of the respondents on the challenges/or problems that business owners may encounter in terms of: financial management, customer service, target market and profit. The study revealed that mostly were neutral on the question in each statement.
