During the occurrence of COVID-19 Pandemic, the way of living of almost everyone had change that leads to changes in other things such as the electricity consumption. Staying at home resulted to the increase of electricity consumption as people do things they don't normally do before the pandemic; like using appliances much longer. This study aimed to know the determinants that influences the electricity consumption during pandemic of selected household in Halayhay, Tanza, Cavite. The researchers gathered the data needed through online survey questionnaire using the descriptive and correlational design. Households in Halayhay are the respondents of the study. The Findings of study indicates that majority of the household has estimated monthly electricity bill raging from Php 1001-2000 and 200 kwh and below as their estimated electricity consumption per kilowatts. Refrigerator and electric sockets for charging has the highest frequency with the longest hours of usage of 5 hours and above. Majority of household agrees that number of people in the household and electrical and appliances contributed the most in electricity consumption of the household. It is concluded that, the factor that has the most influenced on energy consumption are the electrical appliances, followed by the people in the household. The researchers recommends lessening the usage of electric appliances. In addition, household is recommended to not own unnecessary appliances. Energy provider is suggested to promote energy conservation practices.
