The study aspires to provide further information with regards to the issues encountered in establishing micro-business amidst a pandemic in selected areas of Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to: (1) determine the business profile of micro business in selected areas of Cavite, in terms of type of industry, type pf ownership, length of operation and number of employee; (2) identify the common factors that influence the owners to establish a micro business amidst the pandemic; (3) identify the issues encountered in establishing a micro business amidst a pandemic in selected areas of Cavite, in terms of capital, location, supplies and covid-19 protocols, and lastly; (4) document the suitable implemented by the respondents to address the issues encountered. In compliance to covid-19 restrictions, the data was gathered through online survey by means of google form and was sent through messenger and electronic mail. The data gathered from the owners microbusiness was obtained specifically from the municipalities of Naic, Tanza and Rosario, and cities of Dasmariñas, General Trias and Bacoor, with a total of 119 respondents. Based on the data gathered and results of statistical analysis , the common issues encountered in establishing micro business amidst a pandemic in terms of capital are having difficulties in seeking business support from different financial institutions in the midst of pandemic and haven't save enough funds for capital due to pandemic. Also, in terms of location, most micro business are having issues regarding the space at home and a more expensive rent in times of pandemic. There are also micro business owners who does not have enough resources and knowledge for online marketing. In supplies, the study revealed that the supply cost are more expensive during pandemic and there difficulties to find convenient suppliers for micro business. The study also revealed that there is an increased in cost to apply sanitation on business premises in compliance to IATF and micro business also experienced difficulties to apply safety protocols due to lack of awareness by some employees and customers.
