The study was conducted from February 2020 to March 2022. The general objective of the study is to develop a web-based application that would serve as platform for bikers/cyclist to effective mange the event plan. The study aimed to 1) design and develop a website capable of: security module; user management module; route mapping tracking information on cycle routes; 2) develop the application using appropriate development tools; 3) test the responsiveness and accuracy of the website using different test cases; 4) assess the system using a modified website evaluation based on ISO 25010 and; 5) deploy the system using web hosting site.
The developers used iterative development methodology. it has several stages such as initial planning, planning and requirements, analysis and design, implementation, testing and evaluation.
The system was evaluated by 21 respondents, including ten (10) web developers and eleven (11) end-users. BikerSpace: A Web-based application for biking Enthusiasts received a total score of 4.57/5.00 for the evaluation of web developers and 4.63/5.00 for the evaluation of end-users, indicating that the system functioned well.
