Development of Audio/Video Wireless Transmission System. Undergraduate Project Design, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. Cavite State University-Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite. April 2017.Adviser: Prof. Nonilo G. Evangelista. Technical critic: Ms. Janice G. Dulce. The study was conducted from June 2015 to March 2016 at Cavite State University Rosario Campus to develop and evaluate an audio/ video wireless transmission system. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) design the audio and video wireless transmission system. 2) construct the audio/video wireless transmission system from supply and materials available in the local market. 3) evaluate the performance of the audio/video wireless transmission system in terms of: a) distance of transmitting audio/video signal from the wireless transmitter to the receiver; b).duration of the battery life during its time of operation; c) safety of the prototype with respect to temperature change; and 4) conduct a cost analysis for the audio / video wireless transmission system. It was observed that the maximum distance that the prototype could transmit signals was 15 meters with clear sound and picture without obstruction while with obstruction, the distance with color and clear picture and clear sound was within 6m. When the distance exceeded in 6m meters, the sound was unclear and black and white picture was produced because of the walls that hindered the transmission of signals and the other signals nearby. It was also noticed that the minimum voltage of the battery and the voltage of the regulator circuit in which the prototype can effectively transmit signals was 6V.Less than the voltage indicated can energize the transmitter and receiver device but couldn't able to transmit the signals to the wireless receiver because of the lack of voltage from the battery. The operation of the prototype's battery was 2 hours and 30 minutes intermittent or continuous operation. The total cost of the fabricated project was PHP.20,317.00
