This project study entitled Mobile Hydraulic Lifter sought to answer the following problems: (1). How does the Mobile Hydraulic Lifter help the students in lifting heavy equipment in the shop faster and easier? (2) How does the Mobile Hydraulic Lifter provide a safe process of lifting and moving heavy equipment?
This project study aimed to (1) Plan to develop a Mobile Hydraulic Lifter(2) Analyze the lay-out and needed materials and supplies,(3) Design a lifter (4) Construct the prototype with available parts and materials in the local market,(5) Test its functionality,safety, and effectiveness, (6) Evaluate the performance of the prototype,(7) Revise and remedy defects, if there were any.
The study was focused mainly in the development of constructed Mobile Hydraulic Lifter. It can help the students to lift and transfer heavy object to another places. It is use only for lifting and transporting heavy equipment.
This project study was constructed at Cavite State University-Rosario Mechanical and Stationary Marine Technology Building from June 2013 to March 2014.
The Mobile Hydraulic Lifter is equipment that can be used such as lifting and transferring heavy equipments. And last to minimize the effort exerted and easy to do work. It must be used thoroughly in case of student can't lift heavy mounting object and
transfer it to the designated area or location.
The 35 respondent of the study who evaluated the prototype were composed of 25 students and 5 instructor from Cavite State University-Rosario,and 10 workers coming from outside.
Data collected were tabulated,analyzed using frequency distribution,weighted means and percentages.
The methodology used in constructing the device is measuring and lay-outing, cutting,drilling, grinding, and assembling/welding
The findings of the study, the prototype was rated excellent in terms of its functionality and workability. The prototype perform its function effectively and efficiently in terms of lifting heavy equipment and machine and it can transfer heavy object faster and easier.
