The study was conducted from July 2015 to April 2017 to develop Multi Shape corner clamp specifically, the project aims to: 1.) design a Multi shape corner clamp 2.) construct a multi-purpose device in holding and properly locating a work piece 3.) evaluate the performance of multi shape corner clamp comparing with the traditional devices in terms of: a.) Speed and duration in joining metal work piece b.) Accuracy of angle 4.)Conduct cost analysis of the project. Multi shape corner clamp is a devise use in different types of metal fixture such as, Angle bar, flat bar, solid round bar, square bar and pipe. The project will be very useful into the students whose taking up a curriculum about Mechanical and welding especially to those Welding and fabrication students and related courses. These device will be very useful in positioning a work piece which each about to combine together in addition this is an innovated device that holds different types of metal fixture unlike with the traditional device which is limited only in an angle bar to be hold. The devise is Limited in an angle 90 degree and only the flat bars, angle bars, round bar, solid bar and pipe metal. The lead screw is limited only in a maximum range 15.24cm.For further modification, the device can be automatic positioner device.
