The study entitled as “Development of Brake Fluid Level Indicator” was conducted at Automotive Technology Department of Cavite State University-CCAT campus. The design, fabrication and evaluation of the prototype started last January 2018 and conducted until April 2018. The objectives of the study are; design the brake fluid level indicator; construct a brake fluid level indicator with the materials available in the local market; evaluate the performance of prototype.
The brake fluid level indicator wasdesigned to be attached to any vehicle that uses hydraulic brakes. The proponent construct the brake fluid level indicator with a PCB and resistor that will be the process device of the prototype and a float sensor that is attached at the reservoir in different levels, and a level indicator which is a LED light that will indicate the current level of the prototype it is connected to the process device. It will be attached at the dashboard for the driver to easily see the current level, and a buzzer alarm that will function when the level reach the low level to apprehend the driver or the owner.
The brake fluid level indicator was made up of materials that reached Php 4,509 and a labor cost of PHP. 1,947.6 the total initial cost has PHP. 9,884.07.
