CABANA, JOHN PAUL C., CANUELA,KRISTOPHER KEN B., and FLORES, JOHN DAVIDSON P., Development of Auto Air-condition System Trainer. Design project. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology with Specialization of Automotive. Cavite State University, Rosario, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Dr. Ariel G. Santos. Technical Critic: Mr. Danilo D. Santiago.
The study was conducted from August 2017 to May 2018 at Cavite State University Rosario Campus Automotive Building to develop and evaluate the auto air-condition system trainer. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) develop Auto air-condition system trainer; 2) construct an auto air-condition system trainer from supply and materials available in the local market; 3) evaluate the functionality of the prototype in term of: a) system evacuating, b) refrigerant charging, c) leak testing, d) pressure testing, e) belt tension adjustment, f) auto air-condition wiring; and 4) conduct a cost analysis for the auto air-condition system trainer.
The prototype was designed and constructed to teach the students of automotive technology the proper way of trouble shooting and repairing an auto air-condition system. Teaching them how to execute the following activity, whenever the auto air-condition is malfunctioning. Professors can demonstrate to the students how the auto air-condition system works.
This study was focused mainly to the design, construct and evaluation of the Auto Air-condition System Trainer
