This study entitled Three Phase Four Pole Motor Connection Trainer was develop to answer the following questions:(1) how does the Three Phase Four Pole Motor Connection Trainer help the students to be familiarize in coil connection (2) how does the develop Three Phase Four Pole Motor Connection Trainer provide ease of work for instructor and students.
Specially, this study aimed to: (1) design a Three Phase Four Pole Motor Connection Trainer (2) construct a Three Phase Four Pole Motor Connection Trainer with available materials (3) evaluate the performance and operation in testing the speed of connection compare to traditional connection (4) conduct a cost analysis for the Three Phase Four Pole Motor Connection Trainer (5) revise and remedy defects, if there were any.
This study was conducted at Cavite State University from August 2016 to April 2017.The Three Phase Four Pole Motor Connection Trainer will benefit electrical students who are entering electrical industry. It was safe to use. The methodology used in constructing the device were grinding, welding, rewinding, and machining.
The finding of the study based on the result of the evaluation was accurate as to its functionality, safety, and durability. The findings of the study revealed that the series wye had a time of 3.56 minutes prototype/trainer time while the conventional/traditional way was 85 minutes, in parallel wye connection an accumulated time of 4.18 minutes for the trainer while in conventional/traditional connection the time consumed was 88 minutes in other motor connection such as series delta with a time of 3.33 minutes and in parallel delta the time of performance was 4.04 minutes these connection were performed in the trainer respectively on the other hand the period of motor connection in the conventional/traditional way were 84 minutes and 102 minutes series delta, and parallel delta respectively.
Another study be conducted to improve the Three Phase Four Pole Motor Connection Trainer by developing. The Three Phase Four Pole Motor Connection Trainer was design and constructed with great function. It is made out of local materials. The total cost of the complete project is PHP. 18,028.61.
