Development of Automatic Water Purifier and Dispenser using Arduino. Design Project. Department of Engineering. Cavite State University-Cavite College of Arts and Trades Campus, Rosario, Cavite. January 2019. Adviser: Engr. Diane P. Arayata. Technical Critic: Dann Patrick G. Ramos. The study was conducted from August 2017 to November 2018 to create a system that will automatic purifier and dispense water. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) develop a machine that will automatic purify and dispense water, 2) assemble a system that will automatic clean the water reservoir in water dispenser, 3) evaluate the time interval of hotness and coldness of water; 4) assess the biological characteristics of water in terms of: 4.1) total coliform; 4.2) thermotolerant coliform /E.coli; and 4.3) heterotrophic plate count; and 5) assess the design of the prototype. The machine was evaluated by four categories which is monitoring of cleaning process, time interval of initial and final temperature hot and cold water, microbiological examination of water and assessment of technological design. The results of the evaluation shown that the machine can: easily provide a safe drinking water by the means of water purification; dispense water automatically by means of ultrasonic sensor; examine water quality in the machine by performing a microbiological examination of water; automatically clean the hot and cold water reservoir by using Arduino.
