Summary: The author prepared this handbook on Practice Teaching to primarily provide the TEI administrators, college ST supervisors, and their student-teachers with clear-cut directions as to how practice teaching undertaken pursuant to the course requirements in the Experiential Learning Courses as prescribed by the Teacher Education Council (TEC), department of Education (DepEd), and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) . Included with this handbook are the scopes of teaching which may then be manufactured as the teaching ATM: Approaches, Techniques, and Methods of Teaching for review purposes, together with the Practice Teaching Portfolio entries as well as the PTP scoring rubics. (Adopted from TIP Module in Math written by Dr. Gladys C. Nivera. Incorporated in this handbook are the Department of Education Standard records and Forms which should be accomplished by teachers and office personnel within the prescribed timeframe. This enhanced with informative assessments which are reflective of the fundamental strands of the seven domains of teaching and learning processes drawn up in the National Competency-Based Teacher Standards (NCBTS).
