Thesis Abstract |
<a href="Mark Jason Mirando, Regie Boy Orsolino, Chris Elinuel Paulme, Cavite State University-Rosario, Laboratory Science High School 2009-2010. "Water Cooling System for Computer Processor"

Adviser: Mrs. Marilou P. Luseco

This technical feasibility study sought to design, construct, test and try-out a Water Cooling System for Computer Processor. This study will prove how much effective water cooling system than a normal air-cooling system for computer processor.

Specifically, this study determined the following:

1. What is the difference between air and water cooling system in computer processor in terms of?

Temperature

Running-time

Efficiency in computer

2. Can it be used as an alternative cooling system of computer processor?

This Water Cooling System for computer processor helps to avoid over heat and computer crash. This study is designed to improve and to lower the temperature of CPU.
Water Cooling System for Computer Processor is technically feasible because its design and construction is simple since all supplies and materials needed in the construction are available in the local market and in the researchers' house. But some materials of this study are very expensive so the researchers find a way to lessen the expenses of this study. It is also economical in terms of labor and manpower and easy to construct. Care in installing the water cooling system for computer processor is needed because water is highly dangerous and it will cause damage to computer.

Because the researchers have no sufficient money to afford 12-volts DC Submersible Water Pump, the researchers used12-volts AC Submersible Water Pump because they borrowed it only from the researcher's guardian. Twelve-volt DC Submersible Water Pump is better because of some advantages like connecting the output of the water pump in the power supply of computer.">Mark Jason Mirando, Regie Boy Orsolino, Chris Elinuel Paulme, Cavite State University-Rosario, Laboratory Science High School 2009-2010.
