A Project Design Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Cavite State University Rosario Campus, Rosario, Cavite April 2015. Adviser Mr Christopher G Estonilo<br/><br/>The PC Auto-Shutdown is a simple program that allows users to schedule a networked computer to shutdown, restart, or logoff automatically. PC Auto-Shutdown was developed to lessen the time and effort of the staff and faculty member of DELI when turning off the computers Furthermore, it was developed to lessen the power consumption of computers in the laboratory<br/><br/>The study was conducted from June 2014 to January 2015 to develop a PC Auto- Shutdown program in the Centralized Computer Laboratories Specifically, the study armed to: 1) design the user interface of PC auto shutdown program for the Centralized Computer laboratory of CvSU-R, 2.) evaluate the beta-version of auto shutdown program for CvSU-R using software evaluation, and implement the PC auto shutdown program in the centralized computer laboratories of CvSU-R<br/><br/>Interactive model of research was used to develop the windows application program. It consists of planning phase, analysing phase, evaluating phase and implementing phase Planning the design and expected output, consulting and conducting Interviews to the students, gathering information about the subjects related to the system vere done by the developers to complete the study Upon analysing the function of the rogram, it was found that it has a good quality and is efficient to the user The design of program was simple and informative to make it functional to the users. The researchers conducted an evaluation one hundred participants from Cavite State University Rosario The criteria used by the researchers were the following accuracy of the software, consistency of the software, correctness of the software: reliability of the software, information in the program of the software, user-interaction of the software, and technical aspects of the software. The result of the software evaluation showed that the application can be useful to lessen the power consumption of computers in Centralized Computer Laboratories<br/><br/>The development of PC auto shutdown program for CvSU-R was capable in helping the staff and faculty member to check and shutdown if there are left open computers in a less ume and effort in the computer laboratories of the DEIT Furthermore, if unexpected circumstances occur, PC Auto shutdown can manage any time of the day by setting the time in the server.
