Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Cavite State University-Rosario, Rosario, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser Christopher G. Estonilo<br/><br/>The CvSU-R Nexus is the official student publication of Cavite State University- Rosario that publishes multiple releases in different genre, such as newsletters, folios, tabloids, broadsheets and magazines. As time passes by, these outputs started to become a mess in the office. Some of it was already worn out, others were damaged. Apparently. retrieving of documents becomes a challenge. Hence, the researchers decided to create a digital archive for the publication of CvSU-Rosario Campus<br/><br/>The study aimed to: 1. design the user interface and identify all necessary inputs and output of the digital archive system of the CvSU-R publication, 2. test and evaluate the online beta-version of the system; and 3. implement and deploy the system online.<br/><br/>The researchers used a methodology called interactive model all throughout the development. They planed, analysed and design simultaneously to develop the system that was eventually tested and evaluated online. The criteria used for the evaluation of the systems are accuracy, consistency, correctness, reliability, information in the program, user interaction, and technical aspects of the software materials.<br/><br/>One hundred fifty (150) participants evaluated the system, which is composed of one hundred forty two (142) students, eight six (86) teachers and two (2) 1.T. specialist from Cavite State University Rosario. The result of the software evaluation shows that the application achieved an overall mean of 4.51 with a descriptive interpretation of "Excellent". This means that the Digital Archive System of CvSU-R Publication is capable of preserving and storing campus publication. It can serves as a tool for the campus publication staffs and alumni to manage the campus publication. The students and alumni of CvSU-R will be kept updated through the news led by the website.
