Tadeo.<br/><br/>The marketing research entitled The Attribute and Practices of Informal Entrepreneurs in Selected Cities/Municipalities in Cavite province aimed to determine the attributes and practices of informal entrepreneurs in selected cities/municipalities in Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1) determine the demographic profile of the participants in terms of age, sex, types of industry and length of business operation; 2) determine the practices and characteristics of informal entrepreneur in terms of operation planning and customer relationship, 3) determine the reason why informal entrepreneurs engage in informal entrepreneurship and; 4) identify the problems encountered by informal entrepreneurs.<br/><br/>The study focused on the attributes and practices of the informal entrepreneurs that was conducted in five cities/municipalities in Cavite province namely: Imus, Tanza, Rosario, Kawit, and General Trias wherein only the informal entrepreneurs were asked to answer the survey questionnaire. It started from January to March 2018.<br/><br/>The most effective way of collecting data is through the use of questionnaire there were list of survey questions asked to the participants and designed to extract specific information. The researchers used this instrument in collecting and gathering data for this study. The questionnaire for the informal entrepreneurs was consists of two parts. The first part was all about the demographic profile of the participants and second part was consist of questions that determine the attributes and practices of the informal entrepreneurs in selected cities/municipalities in Cavite province.<br/><br/>The descriptive method of research was used to be able to gather necessary data, this method were utilized using triangulated research approaches. The study was conducted in five cities/municipalities in Cavite province namely: Imus, Tanza, Rosario, Kawit and General Trias.<br/><br/>The participants were mostly 40-50 years old, mostly females and in line of Food and Beverages industry with a 87.20% percentage of 54.90. In terms of Length of operation, most of the informal entrepreneurs were 4 years and above with a percentage of 38%. Some of the respondents are home-based and they put up their own stall in front of their houses and some are the distributors and "naglalako". Most of the respondents operate their business by identifying the customer preference. For planning their business 49.60% of the respondents were budgeting. Almost of the respondents were facing the same problems with their customers, its either debt or niggardly, but still 39.30% were treating them as a valued customer and 36.80% for the great customer service. Cleanliness and taste are also the factors that the customers consider in purchasing the product especially when it comes to food and beverages. Competition is the most considered problem that they encountered in informal entrepreneurship.<br/><br/>The researchers recommended to the future researchers to further study the problems encountered by the informal entrepreneurs and find better solution to it. To the informal entrepreneurs, to legalize the business to avoid unnecessary events like threat of demolition or expulsion and to choose appropriate location for the business. The local government should create policies or formulation to convert informal entrepreneurs to formal entrepreneurs.<br/><br/>The researchers also recommended to the customers to be considerate in buying goods or availing services especially when it comes to price, informal entrepreneurs are also buying their product to a certain wholesaler or consignment.
