Thesis Abstract <a href="DONEZA, MICKA M., LICANDA, JOBELYN M., MAYUGA, JESSELYN B., The Pruduct Switching Behavior of Cunsumers in Selcted Area of General Trias City: The Case of Pork Products.Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Business Management Major in Marketing Management. Cavite State University - Cavite College of Arts and Trades Campus, Rosario, Cavite June 2021. Adviser: Prof. Richard Perez.<br/><br/> The study was conducted from September 2021 to January 2022 in the selected area of General Trias, City. To determine the product switching behavior of consumers in General Trias City: the case of pork products. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1. determine the socio-economic profile of respondents in terms of: a. age, b. sex, c. marital status, d. occupation, e. monthly income, f. household size; 2. identify the determinants of the product switching behavior of pork products; 3. determine the degree of influence of the determinants towards commodity switching behavior of pork products; 4. provide marketing insights that cause product switching behavior and suggest possible strategies. Both quantitative and qualitative data were used in the study. A descriptive method was used to determine whether the data collected was sufficient and accurate. The data was collected and gathered through a survey questionnaire using Google forms and an interview via online chat. Only a small number of respondents were chosen on purpose. Random sampling techniques were used in the study. The computation of data was guided by mean, frequency, and percentage.<br/> After gathering important and accurate data and facts regarding the study, the researcher concluded that consumers in General Trias City were mostly females between the ages of 19 and 29. And generally, they were married, usually purchasing pork products and experiencing switching products in the market. The primary occupation of the respondents of the study is teachers, who basically receive a PHP 20,000-PHP 29,999 monthly income. Based on the reflection of the study, the typical household size in General Trias City is 4-7 family members. The study revealed that the determinants of product switching by consumers in General Trias towards pork products are the high price that is currently implied in every product, mostly in pork products, the quality of the product because of texture and even color, etc.<br/> Everyone will be more aware and knowledgeable about purchasing pork products. However, this will not only benefit the buyer or consumer; it will also benefit the seller by inspiring them to be more idealistic in their business practices. All they have to do is maintain the good image of their products, as well as the cleanliness of their store and the service they provide to their customers. They need to be more aware of what they need to improve in order to attract more customers and achieve significant business growth. Consumers need to pay attention to the highest quality product before purchasing it, to make sure that the product they purchase is satisfying and safe, and be more aware of the relevant information about the product.">DONEZA, MICKA M., LICANDA, JOBELYN M., MAYUGA, JESSELYN B., The Pruduct Switching Behavior of Cunsumers in Selcted Area of General Trias City: The Case of Pork Products.Thesis.
