<a href=" An Entrepreneurial Development Project named "PICO DE TACOS" was conducted from September 10, 2007 to November 30, 2007 in CEPZA Rosario, Cavite. The project named Pico de Tacos which means "rooster's beak" which refers to the old style of eating by picking food with the fingers. The Proponents contributed the initial capital of ₱ 2,100.00 to finance the project.<br/> The project focused on the establishing of business engaged in the production and marketing operation and financial capability of Pico de Tacos. It and deeper involvement in income generating enterprise. Specially it aims to describe and apply the practices and strategies followed in production and marketing of tacos, determine the profitability of food business in this kind of business and find solution to the problems identified. Pico de Tacos is a partnership type of business, there is a quarterly rotation basis between the three proponents as Financial, Marketing and Production Manager. Pico de Tacos experience some problems that affect the business operation. One of the problems that the business encountered was the continuous price increase of the ingredients and materials needed in producing the product. To overcome this problem the entrepreneurs did some corrective action, first was they lessen the cost of production by eliminating those ingredients that are not highly important in producing, second, conserving and finding alternative materials at the same quality but at cheaper cost and lastly, was finding suppliers offering the raw material at lower price.Difficulty in production due to time management also become the source of problem. Hence they managed to prepare and produce the product as earlier as possible to cope up with the appropriate time to sell and deliver the product as earlier as possible to cope up with appropriate time to sell and deliver the product to the customer. In connection to this unavailability of raw material was also the major problem that affect the production, therefore the entrepreneurs had decided to purchase some of those materials on monthly basis to clear up this problem.<br/> a lot of this about managing a business applied, from planning decision making and marketing. In selecting the best business location and the product that should be offered in an existing potential market, knowledge and skills in planning was needed. Very good skills in decision making were applied in order to overcome all the difficulties and problems encountered by the business. Marketing was done through direct selling of Pico de Tacos. The entrepreneurs were learned particularly on production and marketing of products which will be very useful for future employment or having their own business.
