Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. Major in Welding and Fabrication Technology in Cavite State University-Cavite College of Arts and Trades Campus, Rosario, Cavite. Adviser Dr. Lauro B. Pascua. Technical critic: Romulo B. Isorena.<br/><br/>The study was conducted from March 2017 to July 2018 to develop pneumatic sheet metal bending machine. Specifically it aimed to: 1.) design the pneumatic sheet metal bending machine; 2.) construct the pneumatic sheet metal bending machine using available parts, materials and accessory in the market; 3) evaluate the functionality of the prototype in terms of: test the bending of different kinds of sheet metal using require pressure of the pneumatic cylinder and measure the angle produce after bending using different kinds and size of sheet metal; and 4. ) conduct cost analysis.<br/><br/>The study is made to provide a pneumatic sheet metal bending machine. This machine will bend sheet metals with easy and efficiency also lessens the time and effort on performing this process. As you can see, it is not only the welding and fabrication technology students' needs this kind of machine but also other major.<br/><br/>The study will be beneficial to the student, instructors and ally trades like Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanical, Automotive and Stationary Marine Technology. They can use the machine as an instructional material for Industrial Technology students on how to operate sheet metal bending machines. The design focuses to help the students and to give an alternative solution for sheet metal bending process and would help to lessen the time that you consumed and ensures the quality of sheet metal bending machine. |
