Summary, etc. <a href="LURCHA, CHRISTIAN M. Development of Microcontroller-Based Transformer Winding Machine. Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Cavite State University-Rosario, Rosario, Cavite. January 2018. Adviser: Eng. Harvey T. Crisostomo. Technical Critic: John Michael A. Dharma.

The study was conducted from October 2016 to November 2017 to develop and evaluate a microcontroller based transformer winding machine. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1.) design and construct a microcontroller based transformer winding machine. ; 2.) create a program that will control the stepper motor's movement using Arduino; 3.) evaluate the performance of the microcontroller based transformer winding machine in terms of: a.) comparative values of inductance; b.) turns ratio; and c.) Speed uniformity in the following conditions: c.1.) one wire with different turns; c.2.) varied bobbin sizes with different number of turns, and c.3). different wire sizes with one bobbin and 4. conduct a cost-benefit analysis.

The study was under taken to develop an alternative transformer winding machine that was made by programmable and electronic circuits, an upgraded of an existing "Digital Rewinding Machine: A Technical Feasibility Study" developed by BSIT students in CVSU-R.

The most significant findings of the evaluation were the discrepancy between the computed data and actual data read by the multi meter showing differences in their inductances using different size of magnetic wire, transformer bobbin and number of turns. Also showing the uniformity of the speed in winding different sizes of magnetic wire and transformer bobbin and in different number of turns. And also, showing the exactness of winding in different number of turns in terms of turns ratio of the system. ">LURCHA, CHRISTIAN M. Development of Microcontroller-Based Transformer Winding Machine.
