This study entitled "Malunggay Leaves Extract: Enhances Hair Growth" was conducted on Tejeros Convention Rosario, Cavite from October-December 2007 with the following objectives (1) to determine the effect of malunggay leaves on rodents (2) to determine the significant difference in terms of their effects on the hair growth of rodents.
Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) was used in the study with t five treatments and two replications. There were TO-(20 ml tap water) T1-(5 ml Malungay leaves extract + 15 ml water), T2-(10 ml Malungay leaves extract + 10 ml water). T3(15 ml Malungay leaves extract + 5 ml water T4-(20 ml Malungay leaves extract).
Based in the results, with the use of descriptive analysis, in terms of length of hair growth on rodents, T4-(20 ml Malungay leaves extract) found to have the great effects in increasing the length of hair growth on rodents. ANOVA table showed that there is a significant among the treatments.
