The authors developed a mobile application called 'Peer Speak' regarding on how a teenager will adjust to their problems and how it lessen the suicidal cases. The application provides life advices on teenage adjustment problems. The 'Peer Speak contains life advices and inspiring message from peer advisers
The study was conducted at Cavite State University-Rosario from January 2015 to March 2015. It aimed to design and develop the user-interface mobile application that will provide advices to teenage problems test and evaluate the application for necessary modification and updates of the system and implement it through installing into mobile phones, tablets and all gadgets with android operating system.
The authors used a system development method called interactive model, where planning, analysis and design task interact continuously to produce the 'Peer Speak' application. The application was evaluated by college and high school students preferably teenagers, IT experts, psychologists/guidance counselors. The authors analyzed the results of the evaluation by computing the average of each indicator and the results showed a total average of90.74with a descriptive rating of Very Satisfactory.
